At one time, a western guy told me he preferred Thai Airways seat because it's spacious in certain flight. Probably for us who are in shape may not aware of this. The truth is many of us who is OUT OF SHAPE can do some homework and choose the right flight for yourselves.
Different airlines has different setup inside the plane. Everytime before and after I booked a flight, I will check the width and pitch of the seats (look see if spacious) especially for the long haul flights. On top of that, you can see if the seat is placed next to a toilet or pantry.
